Xbox 360 Fall update finally detailed in full

It’s that time of year again. Drips and drabs of information about the next Xbox 360 Dashboard update have been slowly( and I mean slowly) leaking out. 4 days and change to go and we finally have a whole picture of what’s going down on December 4th, 07. Misinterpretation abound for anything like this is as usual, so either hit up the Gamerscore blog for the details or check after the break for the full break down. Divx and Xvid support on the 360 for any and all in the know can comprehend how huge that is for some.

Get Updated with the Boom Boom….

It’s times like these where I really appreciate the work that developers are doing with Live Arcade titles. It’s always fun to see one updated every once in a while. It’s good to know that they didn’t completely forget about them. One of my favorite titles is getting a nice little update that sees it getting some new songs. What’s great and not so great about it; is that these songs are free from now until Dec. 16th. Once the deadline hits you will have to pay the price of 250 MS points, as described by Electronic Arts. If you don’t have this wonderful title, it will only cost you 800 MS points and if you love rythym games, this is surely something I would reccomend. Below is a list of the new songs added to Boom Boom rocket.

  • “Eine Kleine Rochtmusik”
  • “Cannon in D”
  • “Sugar High”
  • “Sting of the Bumble Bee”
  • “Explode to Joy”
  • Jereme “Restless Devil” Puik

Admission of Rock Band Guitar "flaws" comes from Harmonix

Rock Band Guitar injustice is what some would say has happened to who have been hit by the imperfection bug in the new Guitars coming with the full bundle. Luckily ( not really any luck involved at all) Harmonix has owned up to the truth that the Rock Band Guitar’s have a problem( insert Houston joke here).

    Rock Band Guitars:
Many of you have contacted us regarding your guitar controllers. As sometimes happens when new products first go into manufacturing, we discovered an imperfection with the strum bar in an early production run of guitars that were shipped at launch. We want to inform you that we have since identified and fixed the issue in all subsequent production runs of the guitars. If you are experiencing a problem with your guitar or any of your other Rock Band instruments, simply visit the customer support website (http://support.ea.com/rockband) and we will send a replacement immediately. Harmonix is dedicated to creating 100% customer satisfaction and to those of you who’ve encountered any hardware issues, we are sorry for the hassle.

After spending a boat load on one game, is there anything that they shouldn’t do short of taking out the trash of all affected? Taking notes from Microsoft and doing it quickly is definitely the way to go. Harmonix and its partners are sure to not want to mess up the possibility of you (not) buying their DLC.

Two Worlds gets expansion, still bad

Sorry, but I can’t lie. Two Worlds is a piece of broken software. From the choppy frame rate to the lag filled co-op. While I played this game I just couldn’t help but see a bad oblivion wannabe. Anyway, South Peak Games announced that a expansion for Two Worlds will be arriving in the first half of 2008. Press Release below.

“Two Worlds moves on”!“The Temptation”, the add-on for the smash RP already in the pipeline

Karlsruhe, 28. November 2007 – Head for a new horizon! With the add-on, “Two Worlds – The Temptation”, the “Two Worlds” universe continues to grow, introducing new game content, extended gameplay and providing you with the answers to many questions and mysteries which arose in the main story!

The developers are focusing on a blend of the proven and the new: besides several well-known regions of Antaloor, there are also completely new territories to explore. The combat system has been further enhanced too – now you can use active blocking, for example. Many other additional developments have been added – developments which have enabled a completely new means of transport and a much enhanced reaction from NPCs – but more on these and a whole host of other surprises shortly! The release of “Two Worlds – The Temptation” for PC and consoles is planned for the first half of 2008. You can get an idea of what to expect at http://www.2-worlds.com/temptation.

If you like Two Worlds, more power to you but all I saw was a broken game.
