Amazon UK sure loves a good joke, don’t they! Otherwise, Microsoft truly is the “Evil Empire”. In that case, que up the Imperial March. If you look closely at the manufacturer of both the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii you’ll notice that there made by Microsoft. Ummmm. According to this, Microsoft has already won the console war, because all three consoles are from Microsoft now. Diabolical I say. Now we just need to wait for the bad guys evil monologue in press release form saying ” We don’t comment on rumors and speculation”.
I’ve been gathering some information from current “Two Worlds” owners and the word hasn’t been good. I’ve heard complaints about the frame rate, glitches, and lackluster graphics. One friend told me “Take everything good out of Oblivion and you’re left with Two Worlds”. Check out the above video which shows You Tuber “XxKornFanxX” talk about some of the problems with “Two Worlds”.
Did anyone here pick up Two Worlds? Is it any good? Do tell.
VG Chartz has updated their site with the juicy details regarding the sales figures for last week’s games in the USA. How much did Bioshock sell?. VG Chartz has the number at 408,119 copies. Two Worlds had a pretty strong week with sales of 139,711 copies. Madden 2008 had another strong week as expected by selling 186,661 copies.
I’m almost done with Bioshock(Trying to find time to play) and I’m really enjoying it.
Microsoft released some good information today. Starting on September 2nd and ending on September 3rd you can download two Xbox Live Arcade games for 400 Microsoft Points(Usual Price 800 Microsoft Points). Also two other games originally priced at 400 Microsoft Points will be 200 Microsoft Points.
Who are these four games? The two games dropped to 400 Microsoft Points include Zuma Deluxe and The Xbox Domain’s 2006 XBLA game of the year Small Arms. I can’t stress enough the fact that for 400 MS points you NEED to pick up Small Arms.
The two games which have been dropped to 200 Microsoft Points include Gauntlet and Dig Dug. This is a good sign from Microsoft because they want to see if gamers will pay up for these games when a price cut is in effect. So in that case if you’ve been hesitating to buy them go ahead when they’re on sale.
I wasn’t really expecting anything fresh from this years edition of Tiger Woods. I just expected cleaner visuals, maybe a new gameplay feature or two, and that’s about it. After checking out the revamped main menu I just wanted to get my hands on some gameplay. The first thing I noticed was the graphics did look much sharper than last year’s edition but nothing really was new.
I had no qualms with the gameplay as it’s been the same since every other Tiger Woods game I’ve played. Controlling the shots with the left analog stick felt comfortable and simple to do .The only thing which always bothered me was when I had to putt. I’ve always been a bad putter though 🙂
The main new feature for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 is the GamerNet. This community based feature lets you upload your best shots or rounds plus a ton of other features. Other than that what can I say? I see friends on my list are playing the retail version because they do like golf but to me it just feels rehashed.
