Would you like to take a Gears 2 survey?

Would you like to take a survey? No, not one of those annoying survey’s that may pop up underneath your browser window when your viewing something you probably shouldn’t, but a survey pertaining to Gears of War 2. Over on the Official Gears of War website, you’ll be presented with an option to take a survey about what you loved about Gears of War®.

Naturally, this is to gauge what Epic should be putting more of in the second outing “theoretically”. This isn’t a survey that’s going to beat you over the head with constant agonizing nudges to take it like in a classic episode of The Animaniacs I so dearly love. It’s a mere 8 multiple choice question outing. So, in classic fashion, Gearheads everywhere, head on over to the survey and show your opinion. What effect it’ll have with anything is probably minimal, but what’s it going to hurt.

Make a Portal paper turret, yay!

In more Portal news, paper Portal turrets FTW! A resurgence of Portal mania has come upon this blogger/writer and what better way to celebrate this by making a paper Portal turret. I hated these damn things in the game, so why not make one out of paper only to someday crush it for sh*ts and giggles. By way of Deviant Art, this creation was devised by billybob884. The download page (in PDF form) for this is located here if you would like to partake in such a thing. Besides, isn’t it about time the companion cube gets to rest for a second out of the limelight?

Move over Guitar Hero

If you think Guitar Hero is missing something, then this might be for you. Accordion Hero FTW! Kind of. OK, that’s it. Ponder this impossibility. Great job with the image though. Don’t you think?

Ruining Xbox Live one step at a time

Vodpod videos no longer available.

In a world where Xbox Live’s false sense of anonymity causes countless amounts of playtime to be ruined in the stead of jerks who prefer to be nothing more than griefers or better yet racist, one video points you through the steps of doing just that. Trash talking with your friends is one thing, but killing the experience for everyone else is down right despicable. Rant Central #4 couldn’t have been more timely as I have now ran into the above video. While, yes, it’s funny, it’s funny for all of the wrong reasons. Is it to much to ask for everyone to just want to have fun without someone crashing the party?

After the break are the rules that you should NOT follow at all cost.

When Xbox and Waterjet meet

It isn’t on the same level as Sonic the Hedgehog being released on a Nintendo console or Sonic and Mario being in the same game, but when Xbox and a Waterjet meet the same obvious oxymoron situation occurs. Sure, while Sega and Nintendo continue to jump into bed with each other amidst all things right in the world, Xbox and Waterjet can’t go together with any pretty results, can it?

In a shocking turn of events if I don’t say so myself, I do believe they have found a solution to the Xbox 360 airflow problem, don’t you think? 😉 Supposedly provided to them by someone at Microsoft, these waterjet cutout’s from junk original Xbox circuit boards couldn’t have turned out any better. Thank you Waterjet. Your the “bestest”. Oh, and CAD is pretty cool too.

Zero Punctuation reviews Call of Duty 4, finally

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Yahtzee Croshaw actually likes another game and it just so happens to be Call of Duty 4. Seriously though, he praises Call of Duty 4 for “nearly” the entire video. It’s about time that Mikey takes a back seat as Yahtzee likes it, he does, he does.

Condemned 2:Bloodshot Developer Walkthrough

Vodpod videos no longer available.

I’m so ready for the chills that Condemned 2:Bloodshot will be giving me next month. I’m glad that Monolith has revamped the combat system and the amateur forensic system from the first Condemned title. Weapons that break add another level of fear/panic to the game and these hobos look even more demented than the first game. This looks like the perfect title to turn off the lights, raise the surround sound, and watch all the tricks that your mind will play on you.

Condemned 2:Bloodshot is scheduled for a March 11th release in the states and March 14th for Europe.
