Microsoft Points rising in Price?

I was checking out Gamestop.com this morning and I came across something that Caught my eye.

The pre-paid 1600 Microsoft Point card which was worth $19.99 here in the USA  is now selling for $24.99

So what’s going on?

Is Microsoft raising the price or companies like Gamestop robbing customers?

360 still trails to PS2(June 2006 sales)

Hardware sales for June 2006 in the USA.

311,000 PS2’s were sold in June.

277,000 Xbox 360’s were sold.

Any thoughts on why the PS2 is still selling more?

FYI-593,000 DS lites were sold.
