The never ending rumor-mill has been spun once again by the January issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly. Many sites like Noooz, 1pstart, and TeamXbox have run with the rumor just a wee bit more. Apparently Konami isn’t certain that there will be enough units of the PlayStation 3 out there for them to make a significant enough profit off of there investment into the development of MGS 4. Many a Xbox 360 owner would love this game to come to the 360 as well. Here’s to the end of this rumor for good, at least until Konami announces it themselve’s. They don’t want to disappoint all of us 360 owner’s do they?

What do you mean by end of rumors for good, so Konami has announced mgs4 will hit 360 or will announce it soon? Kind of confused by posting.
What I meant or suggested was that I hope this is the last time this rumor is brought up until Konami makes a announcement. This game is what many Sony fanboys try to hold over Xbox fans heads like it’s the holy grail. I wish Konami would just address it now whether than let it fester on forever.
Meh, Cool if it does, no loss if it doesn’t. We already have Splinter Cell, but it would be fun to take some steam out of Sony’s train.
Metal Gear Solid on XBox 360 would be a great thing, in my opinion… I can honestly say that the only reason I’d ever buy a Playstation 3 would be for MGS4…
