Rockband dated and priced for EU, time for some Ramen

If you’ve been waiting for the release of EU version of Rock Band than there’s good news coming your way. On the slate first is the UK, France and Germany. A longer wait will be had by everyone else until later in the summer. Are you happy yet? Yes, No. If your not happy yet, then this should due. The date for this release is May 23. Your happy now, right?

Now for the rest of the details. If your financially wealthy then all is golden, sort of. Not an all in one deal as the US received, Europe will be graced to an Instrument Edition (not special edition) priced at £129.99/169 Euros, including the three peripherals. Unfortunately the game is not included. The instruments sold separately will run you £49.99/69.99 Euros. The standalone drum kits will go for £69.99/89.99 Euros. Wireless guitars will be available separately for £59.99/79.99 Euros.

Now back to the “good” news. The game will come with 9 new tracks by European artists from the following:

  • “Beetlebum” by Blur
  • “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” by Oasis
  • “Monsoon” by Tokio Hotel
  • “Hysteria” by Muse
  • “Hier Kommt Alex” by Die Toten Hosen
  • “Perfekte Welle” by Juli
  • “Countdown to Insanity” by H-Block X
  • “Manu Chao” by Les Wampas
  • “New Wave” by Playmo

Additionally all of the current downloadable content found accessible for the game currently will be available immediately at the launch.

How do you feel about this Europeans? I’d hate to ask, but is your arse sore yet? Here’s a placebo ( Four year old included) that will make it all better.
