Juiced and Stuntman Franchises Canceled

After the lackluster sales of THQ’s driving duet, both the Juiced and Stuntman franchises have been put to rest.  The Need For Speed clone and Burnout wannabe that barely made an impact on 07’s gaming radar are being pushed from publisher THQ’s focus during a recent company wide restructuring.  THQ responded to Shacknews with this quote,

“We have taken actions to strengthen our pipeline and position ourselves to compete aggressively with compelling, high quality games,”

I want to see some innovation out of THQ, however with their big games being Cars, WWE, and Spongebob I doubt I will get my wish.  Spend some money on the development of the next Destroy All Humans not Drake and Josh or badly executed clones of good franchises.

  1. Well at least they’re taking out the trash.

  2. I Kage I: Oh, that one hurt. For THQ at least.

  3. I kinda saw this coming with alot of lack of interest with the two most recent releases.

  4. Well I don’t care much about Juiced, but Stuntman is actually a lot of fun, it’s just that nobody plays it online.
