CONFIRMED-“Dig Dug” releasing this wednesday on XBLA(Update 1)

I received an email from someone calling themself “The Insider” and The Insider told me that his “Inside Source” has informed him that “Dig Dug” is coming out this wednesday on Xbox Live Arcade.

Dig Dug is the classic game released by NAMCO back in 1982 and the goal is to kill off these underground monsters either by inflating them till they POP or by dropping rocks on them.

Now people please take this with a grain of salt since usually people who called themselves Insiders are usually wrong…. well we will see this wednesday.

[UPDATE 1-Reader JDUDE 11 has pointed me to the Dig Dug xbox.com page

check it out here

which was just updated with a release date of 9/20 which is wednesday.

Score 1 for the “The Insider”]

[Thanks for the link JDUDE11 and to Ross for the e-mail]

  2. Thanks and Edited!

  3. I definitely think we should keep score for The Insider. I’d be interested to see what other tidbids we can get from The Insider… cheers to them!

OH, and Totemball comes out tuesday so I guess Coin-Op is the theme until Lumines comes out.

  4. I think totemball is also coming out today or tommorow. I can’t get to the page because it is taking to long to load, but several poeple on the xbox fourms have been saying they saw a page for totemballs. I couldn’t get to the page, but I got to the fourms.
